History

Cecoforma was originally the fruit of a limited public company initiative set up in 1979 by the Wallon region in Liège - Belgium.

As a lead contractor specialised in vocational training, Cecoforma started out by contributing to the development and promotion of vocational training in Belgium and overseas. Cecoforma's activities rapidly took off to branch into the supply, installation and start up of technical training.

The integration in 1990 of FNDI Industries S.A., specialised in cutting edge technology with a view to training and export markets, added an industrial dimension to Cecoforma's activities.

Cecoforma had been mainly specialising in the health and medical field when it bought, early in the 1990s, the entire assets and knowledge base of the Belgium Health Company which currently belongs to the Tractebel group, a Europrean leader in engineering. Cecoforma has executed major contracts in the field of medical training, as well as the supply, installation and maintenance of hospital equipment in developing and emerging countries.

Whilst maintaining and strengthening its core activities in the areas of training, engineering, equipment supply and health, Cecoforma is now expanding its activities to new sectors, such as Event magement and promotion, education, support for SMEs, industry (Oil& Gas),  support for multinational programmes, Framework contracts for the European Commission,  troubleshooting and management consultancy. Its international network and multitude of different openings have enabled Cecoforma to also develop trading activities in the various countries where it has partnerships. Over the years, Cecoforma has embraced the new and constantly adapted to socio-economic changes.

With new offices in Brussels, in Bucharest  or in Casablanca, Cecoforma is firmly turned towards the future.
