What does Cecoforma do?For more than 25 years, Cecoforma has specialised in international level technical assistance, in particular in training, health and equipment supply. Cecoforma submits tenders in different domains relating to technical assistance. Furthermore, Cecoforma guarantees the equipment for these projects, as well as the framework agreements for selecting and delivering specific equipment. The coordination and organisation of worldwide events, communication and trading are some of Cecoforma's more recent activities. 2. Who is Cecoforma?Originally, Cecoforma was a public law company, converted in 1979 into a limited private law company. Cecoforma currently employs a dozen full-time staff and draws on a database of experts in all the various fields where it is active. 3. Where does Cecoforma work?At the present time, Cecoforma organises conferences conferences, seminars and training all around the world (China, Peru, Rwanda, Russia, Romania, Mongolia, Ukraine, Malta, Sudan, Argentina, Canada etc. ) Cecoforma is also active in the Mediterranean countries, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria, where it is working on several contracts and projects with on-site specilaised experts, who will ensure the projects are successfully completed. In addition, Cecoforma has several contracts for supplying material and equipment in African countries. 5. How diverse are Cecoforma's activities?Technical assistance, equipment supply, project management, event coordination, communication, trading, and provision of experts also form part of Cecoforma's range of activities. Cecoforma carries out consultancy work and various studies, together with statistical and qualitative analyses. Cecoforma also gives advice on drawing up general conditions for the equipment supply of organised training courses and takes care of all the necessary supply and installation operations. 6. Who works at Cecoforma?Cecoforma employs roughly 15 full-time staff and its database holds a multitude of of experts specialising in every major field. Cecoforma is a member of an extensive network of private and public partners that includes international bodies such as ILO, Research centres, Universities, Graduate schools, Training institutes etc. This enables Cecoforma to assemble the necessary expertise to carry out consultancy work and studies in many different sectors. Cecoforma's strength lies in exploiting the transferable skills of its partners and in developing sustainable projects. 7. How does Cecoforma work?Cecoforma ‘s work is the fruit of experience in vocational training acquired in Europe and further a field. Cecoforma often implements projects through dynamic partnerships with its clients. Cecoforma's accreditation with major international bodies such as the European Commission, the World Bank, The Islamic Development Bank, Belgian Cooperation … enables it to select and tender for projects in its areas of expertise. This often involves establishing partnerships with other companies performing similar or complementary activities. When Cecoforma, generally as leader of an objective association, is selected to submit a tender, all experience and expertise is assembled and made available to finalize a definitive, formal offer. Cecoforma is then in competition with 4 to 8 competitors, chosen from a large pool of candidates. A number of weeks later, Cecoforma is often selected to carry out the project, and all measures are put into place to bring the project to execution within the deadline and the budget stipulated. 8. Who does Cecoforma work closely with?Cecoforma's extensive network of experts, bodies, relationships and partnerships throughout the world ensures that the right level of expertise is guaranteed, whatever the field. Tracking and monitoring of every aspect of the project is ensured by the in-house team. Sophisticated IT capabilities and staff permanently on-hand means that every obligation under the framework agreement will be fully covered. 9. How long do missions last?Missions can either be short term (1, 2, 3, 4 weeks) or long term (which can last up to 3 or 4 years) 14. What about pay?Depending on an expert's level, specialisation and the project type, pay can vary enormously. The financing body and institutions invloved also influence the pay level. 15. Which areas are most sought after?Its is not possible to predefine the most sought after areas. In general, those required most often are linked to organisation of events, vocational training, basic education, industrial maintenance, agricultural indsutry, environment, project management, troubleshooting for companies and SMEs, continuing training, health sector assistance, financial expertise etc.. |
