Challenge
Motivating students to take an interest in science with engaging booths, workshops and shows.
Over 4.300 students and 380 teachers from 133 schools stepped into a world of discovery at the Africa Museum in Tervuren. Contracted by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Education,
Science is Wonderful! bridges this research with schools across the European Union. It celebrates the value and impact of EU-funded research by giving primary and secondary school students the chance to interact with leading researchers and innovators, learn more about their work in engaging formats and ask questions.
For two days young minds explored groundbreaking research, experimented with hands-on science through workshops, enjoyed 30+ spectacular science shows and engaged with 70+ immersive booths. cecoforma did more than logistics, our team created experiences: Engaging booths, designed and equipped with interactive spaces; seamless operations managing transport for thousands of participants; impactful communication with a multi-channel strategy to reach and inspire young minds; venue management, securing the perfect setting for exploration and overall global coordination, bringing together researchers from around the world.
Our project managers have been working closely with this DG on its events for some time and thus, have a good understanding of the objectives and were very attentive to ensure the deliverables of the project.
At cecoforma, we don’t just organise events—we create moments of wonder that spark curiosity and shape future generations.
